After
much contemplation the words of Thoreau led me to pick this
girl. My choice is not so much about what she as
it is about what she will become. Many of her features
are awkward in this tender age, but once she has had a full
two years to grow into her length and ears, Constitution, AKA
Connie, will be one gorgeous girl. The centers of her
rosettes are falling out; the expression of a whited pattern
is holding on; the wild essence is strong and clear. |
