Xanadu Dream Weaver of Solana Ranch |
|
Xanadu Dream Weaver of Solana Ranch is an exciting new addition to my breeding program. Cruising the web one day, with no intention on buying a kitten, I stumbled upon Weaver’s sire, Xanadu Dream Morphius. Morphius is the first SBT Bengal I’ve ever looked at and thought -
Now, that is the coat I’d like to put on my cats.

Upon studying Xanadu Dream Bengals further, it is evident that the breeding program has clear goals and is visibly working to achieve those goals. Weaver’s tightly packed pawprint rosettes are not the result of chance but purposeful breeding. This pattern, which to my eye is much wilder than donut rosettes with a lot of acreage, goes hand in hand with the wild structure that is the breed goal of my cattery; thus, Weaver is a perfect fit.
Weaver’s long, lean, well-muscled body will ensure that I keep the essential length in his offspring. His wide nose leather, strong whisker pads and chin will ensure that wild essence is not lost in the face. But it is his personality that we most hope to spread among his offspring.
Weaver is the family favorite as he will sleep curled up by my kids’ heads suckling on himself and purring away. Now that Weaver is a mature man and living outside, my son asks almost daily when he can be neutered, so he can come back in the house. Alas, my son must wait, and we are really excited about Weaver kittens! |
